Join advocates, community members, and partners from across the Commonwealth for the 34th Annual Virginia Vigil & Advocacy Day to Prevent Gun Violence at the Virginia State Capitol.
Held on MLK Day, this meaningful event honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and remembers Virginians whose lives have been lost to gun violence. We will gather in community for a vigil at the bell tower, followed by advocacy at the General Assembly to call for responsible, common-sense gun safety laws that save lives.
Participants are invited to reflect, remember, and then take action by raising their voices with legislators on policies that can reduce gun violence and protect our communities.
This event is hosted by the Virginia Center for Public Safety in partnership with the PLM Legacy Foundation and community partners.
