Join us to learn about Megan’s experience, local gun and mental health laws, how to engage local law engagement, gun safety protocol, new school safety resources, upcoming legislative priorities and ways to get engaged. Panelists represent leading organizations in mental health and gun violence prevention including Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Violence Solutions, UVA Gun Violence Solutions Project, Moms Demand Action, Albemarle County Public Schools and Albemarle County Police Department. Gun locks will be available on a first come first serve basis.
